Gary Oldman is celebrating his Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Oscar nomination by signing up to play a villain, as THR reports that the actor is in final talks to star in Albert Hughes’ revenge thriller, Motor City.
The movie is about a small-time hood who is framed and sent to prison. Years later he sets out to exact revenge and get back the woman he loves. Oldman is set to play the villain in the movie, who acts as a kingpin-type figure and has his hooks into the woman.
Production is expected to start in April, with Hughes directing from a script by Chad St. John.
