As with Jodie Foster’s speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday, we’ve got another, yes-we-kind-of-knew-that-already coming out today – this time Victor Garber. A veteran of Broadway, Canadian born Garber has become an increasingly familiar face on TV and film over the years in the likes of Titanic, Tuck Everlasting and Legally Blonde, while Alias fans will recognise him as Jennifer Garner’s spy father. He’s recently been seen in Argo and is heading back to TV for the series Deception.
It was while promoting that show that he was interviewed by Greg in Hollywood blogger Greg Hernandez, who approached him about some info on Wikipedia, which said Garber’s partner is a man called Rainer Andreesen. When Anderson asked, “I wondered if that’s something public, that you’ve confirmed.”
Greg wrote, “He seemed surprised by the question but said: ‘I don’t really talk about it but everybody knows.’ Garber then added: ‘He’s going to be out here with me for the SAG Awards.’”
It’s not the first time the info has come out (hence why it’s on Wikipedia) as it has been mentioned in some previous articles, but it is the first time Garber has specifically addressed it.
Hopefully Andreesen will be able to see his partner pick up an gong when he attends the SAG Award, as Victor in nominated for Best Ensemble as part of the Argo cast.

Considering Garber’s lead role in “Godspell,” is it safe to now say that Jesus is gay?
