Katherine Heigl has mainly been busy being a new mom for the last year or so, but now she’s returning, and thankfully it’s not for yet another generic rom-com (at least it doesn’t look like it, but with Heigl you never know). Instead she’s joining Patrick Wilson in North of Hell for director Anthony Burns (Skateland), according to Deadline.
The movie is about Don Champagne (Wilson), who’s a successful businessman who seems to be living the good life. What most don’t know, however, is that behind the scenes his incredibly domineering wife (Heigl) viciously controls every aspect of his well-being.
Anthony Burns is directing from his own screenplay, which is based on an original story by Carlo Allen, Ted Elrick, and Tom Lavagnino. Shooting is scheduled to begin next month in Louisiana.
