Director Nick Cassavetes has certainly built an interesting cast for The Other Woman, with Cameron Diaz set for the lead, and the likes of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Leslie Mann, Nicki Minaj and Kate Upton also set to star. Now one more interesting name has been added, as Don Johnson has signed up.
Melissa Stack’s script follows Diaz as a woman who finds out that her boyfriend (Coster-Waldau) is actually married, and that she is the “other woman” in the relationship. She teams up with his vengeful wife (Mann) in a plot to turn the tables on him.
Johnson will play Diaz’a father, a ladies’ man who frequently dates women half his age. Presumably he’ll have a few good tips on how to get back at a cheater.
The film has already started shooting and should be released next spring.
