Last February Diane Keaton and Robert Redford signed up for the Christmas comedy Most Wonderful Time. Now it appears that Redford has left, but Amanda Seyfried, Alan Arkin and Felicity Jones have come onboard, according to BleedingCool, with Keaton still involed.
Directed by Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) from a script by Steve Rogers (P.S. I Love You), Most Wonderful Time will tell the story of a young woman (Jones) who brings a friend home to her parents’ house for Christmas, and they pretend that he is her boyfriend.
Arkin is set to play the wise and wry grandfather (when doesn’t he play that?). It’s not clear who Seyfried will be, but hopefully it’ll become clear soon. And just to ensure the whole thing is as twee as possible, it’ll be narrated by the family dog, Rags
