Dane DeHaan joins the Amazing Spider-man family in the second adventure for Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker. He’s gonna be Harry Osborn (previously played by James Franco in Sam Raimi’s films), who’s the son of mega-rich genius Norman Osborn.
DeHaan himself tweeted a new pic from the movie, showing him and Andrew Garfield in a boardroom at Oscorp, along with the message, ‘Breakin’ it down #Osborn style… Yo.’
Little info has been given about how Harry Osborn fits into The Amazing Spider-man world, although most of the speculation has suggested that Amazing Spider-man 2 will set him up for a larger role in the planned third and fourth films in the series. The presumption is that in one of those films he’ll become the Green Goblin (although we don’t know if, as in the comics, he’ll be following in his father’s footsteps as the infamous villain). At the moment though it’s all largely speculation.
The Amazing Spider-man 2 is out May 2nd 2014.
