Since Charlie Hunnam exited Fifty Shades of Grey, Universal has been scrambling to find a replacement to play Christian Grey, with the likes of Alexander Skargaard, Francois Arnaud, Billy Magnussen & Luke Bracey in contention. Now the role has gone to Jamie Dornan, according to Variety.
Belfast born Dornan is a former model turned actor, who’s appeared in Marie Antoinette and Shadows In The Run, but gained many more fans as Sheriff Graham in TV’s Once Upon A Time. During his modelling career he certainly wasn’t averse to showing off his body, as you can see below. He’s certainly gonna make a sexy Christian Grey.
He will now play the highly coveted role of a young billionaire who gets into a kinky S&M filled relationship with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). Sam Taylor-Wood is set to direct, with filming kicking off next month, for a summer 2014 release.
