Tom Cruise must have enjoyed working with director Joseph Kosinski on Oblivion, as they hoping to team up again, as they are both circling the racing drama Go Like Hell for 20th Century Fox, according to THR.
The movie has been in the works since 2011, when Michael Mann was close to directing. The drama is based on A.J. Baime’s book Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, And Their Battle For Speed And Glory At Le Mans, which follows Ford’s decision to challenge Ferrari’s dominance at the 24-hour LeMans race. The Ford team, led by Henry Ford II, Lee Iacocca and Carroll Shelby developed the Ford GT40 in 1966, which became the first American-made sports car to win LeMans. The car went on to win the next four LeMans races.
There’s some confusion over exactly Cruise will play. It’s not known when it will shoot either.
