Film sets have become increasingly odd places, which often look nothing like they will in the final movie. That particularly true of movies using motion capture, where shooting involves a lot of people wearing leotards covered in dots.
As you can see in the pics above and below, it’s a bit odd, but come the release of Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, they’ll becomes CGI simians.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.’
Matt Reeves directs, with the film due out next July.
