Back in December it was reported that Sandra Bullock was in talks for the George Clooney produced movie Our Brand Is Crisis. Now she’s officially committed to it and the film has a director, David Gordon Green, according to Variety.
Bullock apparently couldn’t fully decide whether to star, but was convinced after meeting Pineapple Express and All The Real Girls director David Gordon Green, based on the strength of his vision.
The political comedy is based on Rachel Boynton’s 2005 documentary, which focused on the use of American political campaign strategies in Bolivia by President Clinton’s former consultants James Carville and Stan Greenberg.
Peter Straughan wrote the screenplay, although it’s not clear when it will shoot.
