Tom Ford Lets Us Know Jake Gyllenhaal Isn’t In To Manscaping ‘Down There’

Throughout his career, Jake Gyllenhaal has only occasionally felt the need to denude his chest of hair, and it turns out the director of his new film, Nocturnal Animals, certainly doesn’t mind that. Tom Ford was talking to Vulture when the topic moved to Jakes hirsute-ness.

Asked about whether he’d considered getting Gyllenhaal to shave, he answered, “It just never occurred to me that he should shave his chest! I happen to like body hair. I think people should leave it alone — I’m not a fan of all this manscaping that goes on. I don’t really get it.”

He didn’t stop there though, adding, “If you like the chest, you should see what’s down here,” Ford said gesturing downwards. “There is no manscaping. There is no manscaping.”

Just to make sure we didn’t forget, towards the end of the interview, he teased, “Nice talking to you. I’ll get Jake to show you his bush sometime.”

Whether we get to see it or not, I’m sure many people out there will just be happy to know he’s got a full one.
