A new web series has hit the web, and it’s certainly worth a look. Let Me Die A Nun, follows ‘the opposing but intersecting trajectories of a lesbian soon-to-be nun (Ana Fabrega), her Jewish stalker (Carl Kranz), and the object of her affection (Hari Nef).’
As that synopsis suggests, the show is rather unexpected, but also rather fun. The six-episode first season has now been released online, so we can all take a look.
Writer/director Sarah Salovaara commented to, IndieWire, “We’re all very familiar with coming out narratives in LGBTQ cinema, and they’re not necessarily the most stirring of genres. So I wanted to look at it in a heightened context like the church, where the realization that you are gay alters the entire course of your life.”
Take a look at Season 1 below. (H/T Out)
