Sony has had great success relaunching Spider-man in the form of Tom Holland (and with the help of Marvel Studios), but they’ve also had something else up their sleeves – an animated film. Now we get our first look at the movie, which will bring a different Spidey to the big screen, Miles Morales.
Although it doesn’t tell us much about the plot, it does make it look like the film might be rather cool, and the perfect flick for superhero obsessed youngsters. However, we won’t get to see whether the film is worthwhile until it’s released at the end of 2018.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creative minds behind “The Lego Movie” and “21 Jump Street,” bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.’
