Nowadays it’s often difficult to tell whether having Bruce Willis signed up a movie is a reason for excitement or whether it’s just notice that someone has reached his asking fee, irrespective of the quality of the movie. However Willis and Ambyr Childers have signed up to star in the sci-fi action-thriller Vice, according to Deadline.
The film is set in a future where humans can live out their fantasies at a resort known as Vice, where androids can help dream come true. The plot thickens when bot (Ambyr Childers) becomes self-aware (don’t they always in sci-fi?), threatening to destroy the organisation. Bruce Willis is playing Julian, who owns the resort.
Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore (San Andreas: 3D, Red Dawn) wrote the screenplay, although the project doesn’t have a director at the moment. They need to find someone quickly as it’s due to start shooting on March 15 in Alabama.
