It’s taking a long time to get the follow-up to Snow White & The Huntsman ready for the big screen but it finally seems to be coming together.
Chris Hemsworth is still around – indeed he’s at the centre as the movie is just called Huntsman – and now Deadline reports that Emily Blunt has finalised her deal to play the villain, and that Jessica Chastain is now in talks for the film, although it’s not clear what her role will be.
Last month it appeared Nick Frost wouldn’t be back after being unable to come to terms with Universal, but now it seems he’ll return after all.
Unfortunately we don’t have too many details about what the film will be about, but we do know Cedric Nicolas-Troyan is directing from a screenplay that’s been worked on by the likes of Frank Darabont, Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos. An April 2016 release date has been set.
Guillermo del Toro hasn’t released too much info on his new movie, Crimson Peak – initially just saying it was a haunted house film. However with the release approaching it’s time to give us a look with the first trailer.

Back in September it was revealed that Xavier Dolan fan Jessica Chastain had signed on to star in the Quebecois filmmaker’s first English-language movie. Now she’s has some company, with the queer director ensuring that the film has plenty of impressive female talent by adding Kathy Bates and Susan Sarandon to the cast. Kit Harington is also set to star.
With each new piece of marketing for Interstellar the scale of the movie seems to get bigger and bigger, which perhaps isn’t that surprising considering it’s from Christopher Nolan and has been described by Matthew McConaughey as one of the biggest movie he or anyone else has ever worked on.
