James Franco, Kate Hudson and Omar Sy have all signed up to go a little bit Shallow Grave in the upcoming thriller Good People, which Henrik Ruben Genz is set to direct, according to Deadline.
Based on Marcus Sakey’s novel, the film follows an American couple who fall into deep debt while renovating a house in London. They discover 200,000 pounds hidden away in the downstairs apartment after their tenant passes away. Inevitably, the decision to take the money leads to very bad things happening. The title refers to the fact they are good people led to do the wrong thing.
Kelly Masterson, Paul Grellong, and Christina Hodson wrote the script. Henrik Ruben Genz is directing what will be his second feature film after 2010’s Terribly Happy. Shooting beings at the end of May in London.
