Dark Knight cinematographer Wally Pfister has certainly lined up an impressive cast for his directorial debut, Transcendence. He’s got Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, Paul Bettany, Cillian Murphy, Kate Mara, Clifton Collins Jr., and Morgan Freeman lined up to star, and now he’s added one more name, Cole Hauser, according to THR.
He’s already been seen this year in A Good Day To Die Hard and Olympus Has Fallen, and now he’ll be heading for the Transcendence set. Pfister has learned followed in Chris Nolan’s footstep’s by releasing little info on the film’s plot, but it is known it involves a group of scientists who are experimenting with a technological singularity, leading to a computer becoming intelligent and malevolent when Depp’s mind is transferred into it.
The film starts shooting soon with an April 2014 release already set.
