Back in March 2010, Summit Entertainment snapped up David Guggenheim’s (Safe House) script, The Puzzle Palace, which at the time had quite a lot of buzz around Hollywood. However it’s taken them until now to move forward, with Deadline reporting they’ve hired McG to direct the cop thriller.
The Puzzle Palace is about a young man who breaks into a police station to steal evidence, and finds himself locked in the station with a bunch of corrupt cops. He must then escape, which is easier said than done.
The film may well be next for McG, who doesn’t have anything firm on his plate after This Means War reached cinemas early next year.
