Morten Tyldum has already segued his success with the Scandinavian movie Headhunters into landing the job as director of the Alan Turing biopic The Imitation Game, which is due to shoot soon with Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley set to star. Now Deadline reports that Warner Bros has hired him to direct an adaptation of Roger Hobbs’ novel, Ghostman.
The book is about a professional Ghostman, someone who cleans up messes and helps fugitives get away. The story follows a clean-up man’s attempt to recover $1 million dollars from a botched casino heist. He finds himself in the cross-hairs of a drug lord named The Wolf and is given 48 hours to complete the task.
Morten Tyldum will be directing from a screenplay provided by Peter Craig with Kevin McCormick producing. No cast has been announced as yet, and there’s no news on when it might shoot, although it won’t be until Imitation Game is in the can.
