While, as we all know, most of every gay and gay-friendly person’s life is dedicated to trying to destroy society, undermining the family and promoting the gay agenda (it’s just a shame none of us have yet worked out exactly how we’re doing that or exactly what the fabled ‘gay agenda’ actually is), some of us also find a bit of time to enjoy movies.
Big Gay Picture Show was set up as a gay-friendly but not gay-exclusive space for film news, reviews, chat and more. Highlighting gay cinema and looking at other movies (from the mainstream to the niche) through homo-tinted glasses, BGPS is here to have fun with film.

Hi, I’m a former magazine journalist who’s been writing professionally about film and TV for over a decade. Ever since my university days, I’ve had a keen interest in gay cinema. I’ve always been fascinated by movies that reflect the diverse range of gay lives. Indeed many of the most interesting insights into what it means to be gay have come via the moving image.
Due to what I saw as a relative dearth of film sites focussing on LGBT-themed cinema, I decided to set up Big Gay Picture Show as a place for gay film fans to find out about and discuss queer cinema, as well as the best of the mainstream.
I’m also a proud member of GALECA – The Gay & Lesbian Entertainment Critic’s Association.
I hope you like the site!
