Big Gay Picture Show is dedicated to the free expression of ideas, but as an LGBT-focused site we felt it was especially important to highlight our policy on anti-gay views expressed on the site. We welcome people to discuss any LGBT issues, however we reserve the right to remove absolutely anything from the site that we feel reaches the level of hate speech, personal abuse, deliberate trolling or which could cause offense to a large number of our users (please note this also applies to personal abuse against those with anti-gay views). Decisions surrounding this are made at the sole discretion of Muser Media or its agents, and may range from the removal of individual posts or comments to the deletion of accounts and users being banned from the site. This website is owned and operated by Muser Media (also referred to below as ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘Big Gay Picture Show’ or ‘BGPS’). Use of this website is subject to the Terms & Conditions below. By using the site, whether as a registered member or not, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

Disclaimer
The views and opinions expressed in the BGPS forums, in reader feedback, comments and blogs are those of the individual authors and don’t necessarily reflect the views and opinions of BGPS, Muser Media or any of its employees or writers.

With content produced by Muser Media or its specifically commissioned authors, both on the BGPS website and in official newsletters, every effort is made to ensure information is complete and accurate. Abuse
While BGPS is committed to the free exchange of ideas and opinions, it is also dedicated to doing this within an environment where users are free from intimidation, harassment or personal attack. BGPS will not tolerate any users using the site to attack, intimidate or harass others. This includes personal attacks against other users of the site or any non-users who may find your post offensive.  Any users deemed to be abusing others or misusing the service risks having posts, blogs or their accounts monitored, moderated or removed. This will be done at the sole discretion of Muser Media and may be done with no notice.

Registering under a false name (beyond nicknames/username) or impersonating someone else on the site will be deemed abuse of this site. Any accounts where this may be taking place risk being removed. We will listen to reasonable arguments for use of false names on an individual basis – such as fear of abuse if a real name is used – but any decisions about this are made at the sole discretion of BGPS.

Copyright, Intellectual Property & Libel
The copyright in all content on this site is owned by Muser Media, used with the permission of the rights owner, or believed to be in the public domain (if you believe we are using an image we have no right to, please e-mails us telling us which page the image appears on at [email protected]). No copying or distribution of any materials is permitted for any commercial or business use without our express prior permission (for non BGPS generated content, please contact the relevant rights holder).  If you wish to include links to BGPS pages or content such as images or videos on your site, see the ‘Outside Links’ section of the Terms & Condition for more information.

No user should post or embed any third party copyrighted material onto the BGPS site, except with express permission of the rights owner or where it would fall under ‘fair use’ provisions of copyright law. If you are unsure whether a post might break copyright law, either don’t post it or contact BGPS first. BGPS reserves the right to remove posts, images, videos or any other content which could contravene copyright laws.

Any content that users add to the site cannot promote or link to anything illegal, possibly illegal or which could be construed as hardcore pornography. This includes but is not limited to things such as posting links to pirated movies or encouraging others to use particular services that infringe intellectual copyright. You may discuss topics such as piracy, but anything which could be deemed to be encouraging or making it easier for others to engage in piracy or any other illegal or possible illegal activity, risks being removed.

BGPS reserves the right to remove posts which may be deemed libellous or which are based on unsubstantiated rumour or conjecture and could be deemed damaging to the person or companies referred to. Please note that this does not prevent you from proffering honest opinions on any topic, but these opinions should not be presented as fact unless they have been substantiated as being so.

Outside Links
While BGPS may contain links to outside sites that we feel you may be interested in, these sites may not be owned by us and we do not endorse or accept any responsibility for their content or your user experience on those sites. Any purchase or contract you enter into after clicking onto a third party website from BGPS will be with that site and fall under that site’s terms and conditions. We cannot be held responsible for any for any losses you may suffer as a result of any purchases you make at third party websites.

All purchases made in the BGPS Show (Big Gay Picture Shop) and governed by the terms and conditions of Amazon.co.uk. If you purchase through the shop you are making a contract with Amazon, and so any problems should be directed to them or their agents.

When using the price comparison service, every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on BGPS are accurate and up to date, however we cannot guarantee that when you click onto a third party website to make a purchase, that the price there will be the same as the one shown on BGPS. Neither party can be held responsible for any differences in price between them and us. Although the price shown on the third party website is likely to be the correct one, if in doubt, contact them before purchasing.

Users may not post links, comments or any other material on the BGPS site that could be interpreted as Spam. Linking To BGPS
If you link to any page on this site from your website, clicking on the link must show the page ‘as is’ and may not be surrounded or framed by any material not originated by us.

Any codes provided to embed BGPS content (such as videos and images) either on this or partner sites (e.g. Youtube), are provided for non-commercial purposes. If no code is provided, it should not be assumed that hotlinking – particularly of images stored on our servers – is permitted, as this may contravene copyright law. Privacy Policy
In order for people to sign up to use BGPS services such as comments, forum, competitions and newsletters, it is necessary for us to process and store certain personal information about users, such as their name, e-mail address and other pertinent information.

In order to protect your privacy, we seek to comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. We promise not to disclose, rent, sell or otherwise transfer your personal details to any third parties without your consent. It should also be noted that while we may occasionally decide to send advertising oriented messages to those on our newsletters list, your personal details will not have been passed onto anyone else in order to do this and these messages will be clearly marked as having come from BGPS.

While we make every effort to ensure your security and privacy, we cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised use, distribution, damage or destruction of personal data, except to the extent we are required to by the Data Protection Act 1998.

Routine Information Collection
All web servers track basic information about their visitors. This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and referring pages. None of this information can personally identify specific visitors to this site. Newsletters
BGPS will only send you newsletters if it reasonably believes you have agreed to receive them. If you believe you have received a newsletter in error or do not wish to receive them anymore, please use the unsubscribe function by replying to the newsletter. Registered users can also subscribe or unsubscribe to newsletters at any time on their profile when they log in to the BGPS site.

General Terms
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms & Condition shall restrict or exclude any liability that BGPS or users of the site have to any party which cannot be excluded by law.

While we will always attempt to minimise them, BGPS cannot be held responsible for any errors, interruptions or delays to the service.

All content on BGPS is included at the sole discretion of Muser Media. While we hope you will be able to use the site to say whatever you wish about film and home entertainment, we must reserve the right to remove any content, whether generated by us or by users, at any time, for any reason. If we do need to take down any user generated content for any reason, we will endeavour to contact you telling you why, although this cannot be guaranteed. If you believe any of your content has been removed in error, please e-mail [email protected], detailing the problem.

General Competition Terms & Conditions
Please note that while these are the general terms and conditions for competitions on BGPS, from time to time specific competitions and offers may have terms in addition to, or which supersede, these. Please read the terms and conditions for each competition every time you enter.

1.  The promoter of the competitions on the biggaypictureshow.com website is Muser Media, whose address is The Senate, Southernhay Gardens, Exeter, EX1 1UG
2.  All entrants must be 18 years or older and resident in the UK (unless otherwise stated in the individual competition).
3.  Competitions are not open to employees or agents of Muser Media or anyone involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.
4.  No purchase of any sort is necessary to enter competitions.
5.  Only one entry per person and per household is permitted. You must enter your own details yourself. Any entry believed to have been entered by automated means or which originates from a person, company or entity other than the named entrant will be disqualified – this includes automated competition services and competition clubs.
6.  All entries must include the real name, address and email address of the entrant. If any of these are missing, we reserve the right to disqualify that entry.
7.  Entries must be made through the BGPS website.
8.  Winners will be randomly chosen from all entries that meet the terms and conditions of that comp. The draw will be made shortly after the closing date (please note that on occasion there can be a short delay between a competition closing and prize fulfilment).
9.  While BGPS will always endeavour to provide exactly the prize stated on the website, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of a similar nature and/or value if it becomes necessary. No cash alternatives can or will be offered. Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
10. Any personal data relating to entries will be held in accordance with UK data protection laws and will not be disclosed to any third parties. The only possible exception to this is that by entering the competition, if you win you give us permission to pass youe address to the  fulfillment service of any competition’s co-promoter (e.g. the distibutor of a DVD who is supplying the prize) so we can send you your prize.
11. Other than so far as it is required to by law, the Promoter does not accept liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense caused in connection with the competition or prize fulfilment.
12. All entrants must accept these terms and conditions and any other rules specific to a particular competition if they wish to enter. The promoter may, at its sole discretion and/or if circumstances arise which make it unavoidable, change the closing date of a competition, or alter, amend or withdraw these terms and conditions and/or a competition without prior notice.
13. Muser Media’s decision is final in every situation and no correspondence will be entered into.
