If there’s one US TV show that can get pretty much anybody it wants to turn up for a guest spot, it’s Sesame Street. Everyone from Michelle Obama to Zac Efron has shown up in recent years, along with many, many others.
Now it’s the turn of Superman himself, Henry Cavill. While Efron gave us all a lesson in patience, Jon Hamm talked about sculpture and then Kellan Lutz taught us about vibrations (yes, really), Cavill is here to tell us all about Respect. Unfortunately he doesn’t break into the Otis Redding/Aretha Franklin classic song, but it’s still a good lesson to have anyway.
Personally, I think Cavill may have missed his calling as a children’s TV presenter, even if he does seem to be trying to be even more British than he normally is.
Henry is the same here as he is everywhere else. Charming and sweet-natured. Claiming he is “more British” sounds like envy.
