Germany’s Transgender Film Festival 2014 Announces Its Awards

While there are lots of gay film festivals there are hardly any that concentrate on movies that feature representations of transgender people. However for the past few years Kiel in Germany has held just such an event, with 2014’s fest having taken place April 11th-13th.

The weekend of screenings and events revolving around films involving cross-dressing and transsexuality ended with the festival handing out its awards.

Dallas Buyers Club was the big winner, taking Best Feature Film and two acting awards.
