The gay-themed It’s All So Quiet is released on DVD in the UK from August 10th courtesy of Peccadillo Picture, and we’ve teamed up with them to give away three copies of the movie in this competition!
In the film Helmer, a farmer, takes care of his elderly father in the remote Dutch countryside. His working days are marked by the visits of milk collector Johan, for whom Helmer holds a secret fascination. As he attempts to find happiness within himself, a series of encounters with adolescent farmhand Henk awakens desires he has tried hard to repress.
Based on Gerbrand Bakker’s international bestseller ‘The Twin’, IT’S ALL SO QUIET is characterised by an ambient beauty: a reflection on solitude and sexuality.
