I’m sure there are quite a few of you out there who like the idea of diver Tom Daley completely enveloping you. Well now you’ve kind of got your chance, thanks to director Amanda Bluglass’ short film, Beneath360, which was filmed to be projected on a 360-degree at the London Olympics.
It was shown in Weymouth, where all the sailing events took place, on an enormous 62m x 6m screen! It’s a bit of an odd experience watching it on a normal screen, but it gives you a good idea of what it would have looked like if it was surrounding, and Tom’s looking good.
The film also features Olympian Brooke Graddon and under 12 champion Victoria Vincent as they dive into the water from a 10m board.
Take a look at the film above – and as I’m sure you’ve guessed, it’s best to watch it fullscreen and enjoy all the splashing. (Via laughingsquid)
