Some male friends can’t get through a Saturday night out without managing to all get naked at some point, but many, many other straight men may have known each other for decades without ever seeing each other’s genitals.
That’s the subject of this new Buzzfeed video, where three pairs of besties agree to disrobe and take a look at what’s on show.
As you might expect there’s plenty of awkwardness on display – not just because they’re seeing their friend’s junk, but because the moment they disrobe they suddenly seem to realise that they’re on video and are going to have to make some sort of comment on what is suddenly on view. While most seem to realise it’s not as big a deal as they thought, there’s at least one who looks like he wish he’d never agreed to take part (perhaps because his mate is treating this like it’s the ultimate bonding-for-life experience).
It is quite amusing though, and maybe a good lesson for the gay guys who seem to think no man is a friend unless you’ve not just seen him naked but been to bed with him too.
