The Transgender Film Festival in Kiel is now in its third year and it’s going from strength to strength, with growing audiences and a higher profile than ever.
The festival, which ran on the May 28th-30th, showed numerous shorts and feature-length films. All of the movie had transgender themes, and it is noticeable that in the last couple of years it’s had more film to choose from and the quality has incresaed.
The fest has now handed out its awards, with the excellent short Tonight It’s Me doing particularly well, winning Best Short Film, Best Trans-Performance (MtF) in a short film and Best Actor in a Short Film. You can see the full list of winners below.
