Just over a year ago we reported on the Kickstarter for Scream, Queen! My Nightmare On Elm Street. Now the documentary is moving towards its release and has released a new trailer.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘In 1985, Mark Patton starred in what later generations would dub ‘The gayest horror movie ever made,’ A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge. The sequel made Freddy Krueger into a pop-culture icon, but Patton was never heard from again. After 30 years of living in near obscurity, Patton is back to talk about how his American dream became a nightmare during the homophobic AIDS crisis in Hollywood and why had to give it all up.’
No release date seems to be set yet for the documentary. However, if you’re interested in getting hold of the poster (which you can see below), a limited edition version with a layer of pink glitter and signed by artist Matt Ryan Tobin, will be are available here from October 25th.
