Peanuts has never been quite as big a deal in the UK as the US (hence why it’s called Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie over here, as people know the characters more than Charles Schulz’s comic strip), but there will still be plenty of people interested in seeing Snoopy on the big screen.

Now we can get a fresh taste with a great new trailer.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts” gang make their big-screen debut, like they’ve never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation. Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace – embarks upon his greatest mission as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest. It’s a shame that in the UK, while everyone knows who Snoopy i, we never quite got to grips with the idea that Charles Schulz’s comic strip world is called Peanuts. As a result next year’s CGI movie has to go by the rather verbose title, Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie, while the US just gets ‘Peanuts’.

Now a new poster has arrived giving a new take on the classic image of Snoopy on top of his doghouse.

Here’s the brief synopsis: ‘For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz’s timeless “Peanuts” comic strip will be making their big-screen debut; like they’ve never been seen before in CG-Animated Feature film in 3D.’
