Summer of 2013 sees the multi-format release of Glastonbury The Movie In Flashback across DVD, Blu Ray and VOD platforms. The DVD will be in Special Limited Edition as a 4-disk box-set. Packed with content, along with the new movie there will be an extra 12 hours of video and 24 hours of audio. Each disk will also contain a unique one-time download code.

We’ve got a great comp to celebrate this release the July 15th VoD, DVD & Blu-ray released, with three sets of a signed poster and the four disc DVD set.

Peccadillo Pictures releases the gay-themed documentary Les Invisibles in UK cinemas on Friday 12th July (you can find the latest listings of where you can watch it here). We’ve teamed up with them to win a copy of the film’s poster along with DVDs of Sebastien Lifshitz’s other films, the modern gay classics Presque Rien and Wild Side.

Winner of the César Award for Best Documentary, and nominated for the BFI London Film Festival Grierson Award, LES INVISIIBLES is Sébastien Lifshitz’s affectionate but frank account that is in turn touching and amusing, offering an invaluable reminder of an overlooked area of our community at a time when we consider our own attitudes towards a growing elderly population.

Eleven men and women born between the wars. Seemingly they have nothing in common except their homosexuality and growing up in a less open, more intolerant society.  Now in their 60s and 70s, they tell their personal stories, either shared or alone, revealing often pioneering lives in urban and rural environments through seven decades of experience.

His previous films, Presque Rien. which is a heartbreakingly beautiful ode to gay romance,  and Wild Side , a stylish celebration of the bonds between a transsexual prostitute and two gay hustlers, are also available on DVD from Peccadillo Pictures.

Peccadillo Pictures brings out Stud Life in the UK on July 8th, and we’ve teamed up with them for a competition, where you could win one of three copies of the gay-themed flick.

The winner of Screen Nation’s Independent Spirit Film Production Award, STUD LIFE is the debut feature written and directed by multi-award winning filmmaker Campbell X. The film received its UK premiere at the BFI London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.

STUD LIFE is a rare look at a slice of British urban life, which pays homage to Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It and the self-documenting style of Steven Soderbergh’s Sex, Lies and Videotape and tells a tale of a multi-cultural LGBT London.

JJ is a Black Lesbian ‘Stud’ who works as a wedding photographer with her best friend, Seb, a pretty white gay boy. Their clients are wild, weird and wonderful and like many of them JJ and Seb are both looking for love in the wrong places. So when JJ falls in love with the beautiful and mysterious Elle, this long term friendship is tested for the first time as JJ has to choose between her hot new lover and her best friend.

TLA Releasing brings out Speechless in the UK on July 8th, and we’ve teamed up with them for a competition, where you could win one of three copies of the gay-themed flick.

An intoxicating, sexy story, Speechless opens on a riverbank, where we meet a nameless, naked man. Refusing to speak, and seemingly unaware of his surroundings, he is taken to a local police station, and then to a hospital where it seems that only the young hospital assistant can get through to him.

Soon the two men form a strong alliance, which becomes increasingly sexual. As the beguiling stranger’s predicament verges into dangerous territory, the pair’s bond becomes crucial for his survival. Mysterious, exotic and always riveting, Speechless is not to be missed.

After India Stoker’s (Mia Wasikowska – Jane Eyre, Lawless) father dies mysteriously in a car accident, her home life is suddenly upended by the arrival of her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode – A Single Man, Watchmen), who she never knew existed. When Charlie moves in with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Nicole Kidman – Australia, The Others) India begins to hope that the void in her life will quickly be filled by her father’s closest blood relative.  Soon after his strange arrival, however, India comes to suspect that this enigmatic, charming man has ulterior motives. Instead of feeling outrage or horror, she begins to find she cannot help herself from becoming increasingly infatuated with him.

Dark and brooding Stoker is the debut English language film of director Park Chan-Wook, who’s controlled, thoughtful direction helps to create an intense mix of emotional violence and gothic fairytale. Written by Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller the film features mesmerizing performances from the leading cast of Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode.

Futurama is back! After being cancelled in 2003, it returned for four feature-length straight-to-DVD specials between 2007 and 2009. Now the show is back again with the long-awaited Season 6, which reaches Blu-ray and DVD in the UK on June 24th, 2013.

We’ve teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to give away two copies of Futurama – Season 6 on Blu-ray!
