While a lot of companies have been pretty sniffy about new media, afraid of the preceived lack of control it gives them over their products, however Lego has embraced the fact people love making stop-motion Lego movies. Now the company has got 17-year-old A-Level student Harry Bossert to recreate the UK’s favourite movie moments in brick, ranging from Indiana Jones to ET. Currently studying drama at the Brit School, Bossert has been producing LEGO videos since 2007 after seeing a LEGO video on YouTube. His so called ‘brickfilms’ are a big hit on the video-sharing website and his version of Parry Gripp’s Megaphone was shown at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in California last year.
