Christopher Nolan is lining up a truly impressive cast for Interstellar, and now he’s got one more name to add to the list, as Topher is in negotiations to join the growing cast, according to TheWrap.
As with all the other actors who’ve signed up, there are no details about who Topher will play (Nolan doesn’t like telling anyone anything), but he joins a cast that already includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, and John Lithgow.
Christopher Nolan is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with his brother Jonathan Nolan, which is based on the scientific theories of Kip S. Thorne, who believes that wormholes exist and can be used for time travel. The movie is said to revolve around a journey into outer space that pushes humanity’s knowledge of science and technology. The secrecy around the project means we have no idea who Lithgow will play.
The film shoot soon with aNovember 7th, 2014 release date already set.
