Sometimes with Robert Pattinson it’s difficult to work out whether he’s being serious or if he’s just a little bored and seeing what he can get away with. So despite this coming from his own lips, we wouldn’t take it as 100% true – although we might have to rewatch Little Ashes to see whether we think his latest revelationship.
Back in 2008 he starred in the gay-themed movie, where he played a young version of the painter Salvador Dali. That included a scene of him masturbating, and now he’s saying that while you’d have expected him to just pretend, he did it for real.
He says, “[Faking it] just doesn’t work. So I pleasured myself in front of the camera. My orgasm is recorded for eternity.”
The film depicts a much rumoured relationship between the poet Federico Garcia Lorca (Beltran) and Dali when they were young men finding their feet as artists. Needless to say, they don’t go off into the sunset together.
Pattinson says of another scene with Beltran, “We were all hanging out by the pool, trying to loosen up. I was nervously clinging to the edge — and before I could turn around, the Spaniard was already naked. He happily swam towards me… And I didn’t have a clue how to react.”
It sounds like it was an interesting set to be on. Now we just need another angle on the scene where R-Patz pleasures himself.
