Craig Roberts made quite an impression in Submarine, and while he’s made some British TV and film since, now he’s going Hollywood, as THR reports that he’s bagged a role in 22 Jump Street, the sequel to the Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill hit.
Hill and Michael Bacall have written the script, which picks up where the first movie left off and finds partners Jenko (Tatum) and Schmidt (Hill) undercover at a local university. However, the partners get separated, with Jenko joining the football team and the Schmidt finding himself in amongst the art majors.
It’s not known exactly who Roberts will play, but he’s a bit of a latecomer to the cast, as the movie’s already been shooting for a week. The film’s due out next summer.
