The Counselor may have flopped at the US box office, but Michael Fassbender is still hot property, and it’s not been revealed that he’s is in talks to star in Protagonist Pictures’ crime drama Trespass Against Us, which is being sold at the American Film Market, according to Variety.
The film is about the outlaw Cutler family, who have been robbing wealthy estates and taunting law enforcement for more than three generations. Fassbender is set to play Chad Cutler, who in a rather Godfather turn of events, defies his father and attempts to escape his family’s criminal enterprise.
Adam Smith will making his feature directorial debut with the movie, working from a screenplay by Alastair Siddons. Shooting will start next year in the UK.
