Some people in Hollywood have gone to great lengths to try and prevent old pre-fame images of them in states of undress from resurfacing (legend says Joan Crawford even made a porno that she spent years ensuring was destroyed), but Tom Hardy isn’t bothered at all that candid underwear shots he posted years ago on his old Myspace account have shown up again.
While being interviewed about his new film, Legend, he told Sky News, “I’ve got no shame about my Myspace photos. Especially the one of me in my underpants, which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat.”
He added, “In my tighty-whitey budgie smugglers. In America they say you should be ashamed of this, but I’m actually not remotely ashamed – that is me in my natural habitat, thank you. I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo.”
Considering that in some of his roles, he would have been over-dressed in undies, it’s not surprising he has no qualms about the pics showing up again – and quite frankly neither have we. You can take a look at some of them below.
As Tom has said previously that he’s not a stranger to a bit of man-on-man loving (“Of course I have [had sex with men]. I’m an actor for fuck’s sake.”), although he’s added that guys no longer do it for him, it does make us wonder who it was taking the pictures.
