We took a break from Gay Short Film Showcase for a short while, but now it’s back with the Spanish-language film, Desnudos, from director José A. Cortés Amunárriz. Smart and a little sexy (and with some nudity so it’s NSFW), it’s well worth a look.
The film follows a young man, Javier, who is in love with his boyfriend but his parents aren’t aware he’s gay. When his father finds out, things go badly and the dad demands his son stops beng gay and never sees his boyfriend again. However, can Javier find a way to stand up for himself?
The short certainly goes in an unexpected and slightly surreal direction in the end, but it make for an interesting and oddly amusing metaphor. You can watch Desnudos below.
