Jimmy Fowlie’s web series Go-Go Boy Interrupted turned out to be a big success when it debuted in late 2014, so much so that a Kickstarter for Season 2 raised almost $70,000. Not the first two episodes of that season have arrived, which see Danny (played by Fowlie) having made some changes in his life, but it’s two steps forwards two steps back, as the only job he can get is as a lunchtime go-go boy at a low rent dive. He’s no longer the cute early-20s twink who could get paid to dance at top clubs.
It’s time to try and make something of himself.
Fowlie has suggested to Queerty Season 2 was more difficult that the show’s outing, saying, “There wasn’t as much pressure the first season, since we didn’t know if anyone would watch. Plus the crew was so janky! There was a camera guy, and a sound guy.
“Season 2 there were PA’s, and a hair and make up person, a production designer, an AC (whatever the FUCK that is), a script supervisor. And on the first day I was so overwhelmed. People would be like, ‘What do you think of this outfit? What do you think of this napkin?’ and I was like ‘ahh..I don’t know.’”
Once more it’s funny and a little sexy, and there’s also space for some good cameos, including Scott Evans (Chris’ gay brother), Heather Morris, the wonderful Willam Belli, and Brian Jordan Alvarez. Take a look below, and click here to catch up with season 1.
