Following his collaboration with James Franco, Interior. Leather Bar., director Travis Mathews (I Want Your Love, In Their Room) returns with Discreet, his latest look into areas of queerness that aren’t always shown on screen. The film arrives on DVD in the UK on July 16th, and we’ve teamed up with the movie’s distributor, Peccadillo Pictures, to give away three copies.
Discreet is a psychosexual thriller about Alex, a mentally unstable drifter living on the social fringes. After years of struggling to control his demons, he returns home to rural Texas to discover a monstrous man from his childhood is still alive. Desperate and mentally unstable, he plots his revenge as he grows increasingly confused about what is real and what is imagined, spiralling into psychosexual encounters with strangers. Alex struggles to survive in the surreal and disturbing landscape of modern-day America.
