Nerve Trailer – Emma Roberts and Dave Franco get involved in a dangerous game

May 11, 2016 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

nerve-slideThere’s a lot of concern about what young people get up to online, and that seems to be something Catfish’s Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost’s Nerve, about an online game of truth or dare. However, as it’s a movie things soon get out of hand.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Industrious high school senior, Vee Delmonico [Emma Roberts], has had it with living life on the sidelines. When pressured by friends to join the popular online game Nerve, Vee decides to sign up for just one dare in what seems like harmless fun. But as she finds herself caught up in the thrill of the adrenaline-fueled competition partnered with a mysterious stranger [Dave Franco], the game begins to take a sinister turn with increasingly dangerous acts, leading her into a high stakes finale that will determine her entire future.’

And as you can from the pic above, Dave Franco (and his big nipples) have certainly been working out!

Take a look at the trailer below. The film is out in the US in July. [Read more…]

New Paranormal Activity 4 Trailer – What happened to Katie & Hunter?

September 27, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

After Paranormal Activity 2 & 3 took us further and further into the past, we’re finally moving forward to discover what happened to Katie and Hunter after they disappeared. A new trailer gives us our best look at the plot yet, with Hunter now several years older but apparently still surrounded by a lot of creepy crap. Luckily he’s moved in near some teens who seem just as obsessed with filming every moment of their life as his own folks were. Plus things get a little more techy with the use of an Xbox Kinect. The film hits UK cinemas on October 17th.

Paranormal Activity 4 Trailer – All the activity has led to this, apparently

August 1, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

The other day we had a brief teaser for the Paranormal Activity 4 trailer, and now it’s here. After following Katie and her family’s story backwards in time in the first three films, part 4 is going to move things forward, hopefully explaining what happened to Katie, and according to this trailer, it involves a blonde woman who also loves filming everything she does. We’ll be able to find out the full story on October 19th, and hopefully the story going forward will be as fun as it was going backward. Take a look at the trailer and the brand new poster (image via Dread Central) below.

Catfish Helmers Go For Monkey Wrench Gang

May 8, 2012 By Tim Isaac Leave a Comment

Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman first found success with their is-it-a-documentary-or-not Catfish, and followed that up with the mainstream success of Paranormal Activity 3. Now they’re going in a slightly different direction, as they have signed on to direct the comedy, The Monkey Wrench Gang.

The directors are adapting the 1975 satire by Edward Abbey, which centres on four men who battle against the industrial development of their beloved desert in the American Southwest. While they attempt to sabotage construction sites, they vow never to harm another human being, animal, plant or rock.

The directors commented, “We’re excited and honored to turn this book into a movie. People often ask us why we work together and as Edward Abbey used to say, ‘One man alone can be pretty dumb sometimes, but for real bona fide stupidity, there ain’t nothin’ can beat teamwork.'”

Catherine Hardwicke was once attached to direct, but she is no longer involved. It’ isn’t known when it might shoot. (Source: Deadline)
