On Saturday it’s the London Pride parade, which snakes its way from BBC’s Broadcasting House at the top of Regent Street down through London’s theatre district, before its ends in the seat of government in Whitehall. To help celebrate, the cast of The Lion King have teamed up with the London Gay Men’s Chorus for a rather joyful rendition of Circle Of Life.
While we have a very strong suspicion the audio wasn’t recorded live, the video was shot outside the Lyceum Theatre, where The Lion King plays. It’s evidence, if it were needed, that Circle Of Life really is an awesome song which was written, of course, by gay elder Elton John.
