There are still plenty of people wondering whether The Magnificent Seven needs a remake, but we’re getting one. It certainly helps that they’ve brought together a great cast, including Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee and Peter Sarsgaard.
Here’s the synopsis: ‘Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic story in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ and Columbia Pictures’ The Magnificent Seven. With the sleepy town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate towns people employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.’

The cast of Antoine Fuqua’s remake of The Magnificent Seven is nearly complete, with Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Luke Grimes, Wagner Moura, Byung-hun Lee and Vincent D’Onofrio as the titular septet, and the likes of Haley Bennett and Matt Bomer joining.
The remake of The Magnificent Seven has certainly picked up speed in the last few weeks, with director Antoine Fuqua filling up the cast with all sorts of interesting names. Now he’s added another, as Matt Bomer has joined the movie, according to 
Chris Pratt has had one hell of a year, with Guardians Of The Galaxy turning him into a bona fide movie star, voicing the lead character in The Lego Movie, shooting next year’s biggie Jurassic World and being in contention for all manner of massive movie roles.
The first time Denzel Washington teamed up with director Antoine Fuqua, with Training Day, he won an Oscar. Their latest collaboration, the upcoming The Equalizer, is also expected to be a big success.
