Things are heating up in Season 5 of Where The Bears are. Much of the first four episodes of Season 5 have revolved about the fact Nelson’s new husband disappeared from their honeymoon – now its time for a bit of a confrontation with Nelson wanting to know exactly why Todd did it.

Here’s the Episode 5 synopsis: ‘Unaware that they are both sleeping with the same man, Reggie and Wood race to Palm Springs to be with a heartbroken Nelson (Ben Zook) and vow to help him get to the bottom of Todd’s scandalous betrayal by covertly following Todd and Damien to a pool party where Reggie and Wood distract Damien with some man on man action allowing Nelson to finally confront his estranged husband.’

A few day ago we posted the first episode of Season 5 of the popular gay-themed web series Where The Bears Are. Now Episodes 2 and 3 have been released, continuing the latest story arc which sees a disappearance that may be a dumping and a guest spot for Ronnie Kerr as a new neighbour.

In Episode 2, ‘When Todd mysteriously vanishes in Palm Springs, a desperate Nelson (Ben Zook) enlists the aid of fellow resort guests Winters and Martinez to track him down. Meanwhile back home in Los Angeles, Reggie and Captain Coley come to a decision about the future of their relationship and Wood stumbles upon George and his new Sporting Wood model Diesel in a compromising position. That’s followed by Episode 3, where ‘Refusing to accept the mounting evidence that Todd has ditched him on his honeymoon for another man, Nelson (Ben Zook) poses as a gas company meter reader in order to spy on his husband and get to the truth. Meanwhile, Reggie meets a new neighbor Chase Hansen (Ronnie Kerr) who may prove to be helpful in saving his TV show from being cancelled.’

Few gay-themed web series have seen as much success as Where The Bears Are, winning awards and gaining enough loyal fans that it’s now on its fifth season. That new instalment of the show has now started, with Episode 1 being released.

Described as ‘”The Golden Girls” meets “Murder, She Wrote” with big, gay, hairy men (aka “Bears”)’, the new season launches following another incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, which helped raise funds to get it made! From the creative team of Rick Copp (The Brady Bunch Movie), Joe Dietl (The Thin Pink Line) and Ben Zook (Jack and Jill), Where the Bears Are is a comedy mystery web series that recently won Afterelton.com’s “Best Gay Web Series” and has accumulated over 20 million views since premiering in 2012.

Season 5 follows the exploits of four gay bear roommates living together in Los Angeles as they become involved with intrigue and murder while couple Nelson and Todd are on their honeymoon in Palm Springs! After releasing the trailer a month ago, the first episode of Season 4 of the popular gay-themed sitcom Where The Bear Are has arrived, so that we can once more immerse ourselves in the world of the hairy, burly guys and their adventure.

Here the episode’s synopsis: ‘In the fourth season opener, the Bears throw a wedding shower in their backyard to celebrate Nelson and Todd’s upcoming nuptials, but things go south fast when Nelson’s mother Doris starts taking potshots at Todd, Nelson invites Todd’s estranged brother Jimmy without telling him, and a spiteful party crasher makes an insulting toast that threatens to ruin the entire event.’
