james-francoSometimes it’s difficult to work out what’s going on with James Franco. For example, are the pics below some sort of artistic statement, is he just messing around, or was he just very, very drunk? Or perhaps he’s a secret Batman S&M fan!

If art, we’re assuming he’s trying to explore the homoerotic underpinnings of the relationship between Batman and Robin by making absolutely explicit something that is usually only implied. After all, he did title them ’50 Shades of Batman and Robin’.

Andrew Christian Gets Their 80s Fitness On In A Sexy Yoga For Bros Video

It’s been a few weeks since we last had a new Andrew Christian video (barring the Cher mash-up that arrived a few days ago). But now ‘Yoga For Bros‘ has arrived in all its dayglo glory, which seems to be the underwear brand paying tribute to 80s fitness, but with men in underwear standing in for the likes of Jane Fonda and Olivia Newton John.

And as always with AC, those guys sure look good in just their undies as they wiggle about and show off the gifts god has given them.

Chatting To Floating Skyscrapers Director Tomasz Wasilewski

With In The Name Of and now Floating Skyscrapers it’s been a good year for gay-themed films from Poland – especially as these are some of the first ever made. That said, it’s perhaps surprising the films have arrived at the same time as life if becoming more difficult for LGBT people in Eastern Europs.

With Floating Skyscrapers hitting UK cinemas on Friday December 6th, we caught up with the movie’s director, Tomasz Wasilewski. The film is about a young man in a relationship with a woman, who has to deal with falling for man, but as Wasilewski tells us, it didn’t initially have any gay themes at all. [Read more…]

Seth Rogen & James Franco Get Hilariously Homoerotic In A Parody Of Kimye’s Bound 2

There are few people on the planet unaware that James Franco has got a thing for all things homosexual (he’s described not being gay as his biggest regret). Now he’s got Seth Rogen in on the action for a shot-for-shot remake of Kanye West’s video for Bound 2 – which they’ve titled Bound 3.

However, rather than West and fiancee Kim Kardashian getting up close and personal, it’s Franco and Rogen. They get friendly on a motorbike, with Rogen taking his shirt off and showing that’s he’s certainly got hairier shoulders than Kim!

It’s silly, funny and successly lampoons the pomposity of so much of West’s output.

Rogen and Franco made the vid during time out during the shooting of their latest film, The Interview, which will be in cinemas Autumn 2014. [Read more…]

Zachary Quinto Shows Off His Tennessee Williams Skills With A Glass Menagerie Monologue

In April it was revealed that Zachary Quinto was set to make his Broadway debut in a revival of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie. However for those of us who can’t get to New York’s Booth Theater before February 23rd, the New York Times has let us see a snippet of Quinto as Tom Wingfield for their In Performance video series.

Wingfield, the narrator and protagonist of the play, works hard to support his mother and sister. His mom, Amanda, is a faded southern belle, obsessed with her youth and with finding a suitable match for her daughter, Laura. However Laura is a quiet and timid woman who prefers looking after her collection of glass animals rather than the company of others. Things come to a head when Tom brings home a friend from work, who Amanda assumes is a potential suitor for her daughter.

The character of Tom is often considered a stand-in for tortured gay playwright Williams. The piece above shows Quinto in wistful mode delivering one of the play’s monologues. [Read more…]

Cher Gets Mashed Up With Andrew Christian For Take It Like A Man ‘Gayest Music Video Ever’

Cher has always loved the gays, and while the likes of Lady Gaga have come along to threaten her rule as Empress of gay music icons, the 66-year-old songstress isn’t about to give up the throne easily. She’s now fired a salvo by giving her blessing to a remix video of her song ‘Take It Like A Man’ (the third single off of Cher’s latest album), which some have already dubbed the ‘gayest music video ever’.

The 7th Heaven Remix video essentially takes footage from some of Andrew Christian’s extremely hot and homoerotic videos and gives it a Cher-infused flavour. The video showed up on Cher’s social media pages along with the tagline, “Some friends made me a present for ‘Take It Like A Man.’”

We have to say it makes for a good and rather sexy mix. Take a look below, and you can find fuller versions of most of the Andrew Christian vids the footage comes from here.

Channing Tatum Parodies Van Damme’s Splits In 22 Jump Street Viral Vid

Earlier this week Jean Claude Van Damme had his biggest hit in years with a Youtube video for Volvo that saw him doing the splits in-between to trucks. It’s already up to 37,000,000 views in just seven days.

Well, Channing Tatum and 22 Jump Street directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord wanted to show that the film’s Jenko (Tatum) is just as impressive, so they created a funny viral vid that you can see below. Unfortunately it doesn’t go as well for him as it did for Van Damme.

22 Jump Street picks up where the first movie left off and finds partners Jenko (Tatum) and Schmidt (Jonah Hill) undercover at a local university. However, the partners get separated, with Jenko joining the football team and the Schmidt finding himself in amongst the art majors. It’ll be in cinemas next June.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire Stud Alan Ritchson Suggests Underwear Modelling Past Helped With The Film

hunger-games-quarter-quell-poster11The makers of The Hunger Games have obviously realised that filling the films with hot guys doesn’t hurt. For Catching Fire Josh Hutcherson and Luke Hemsworth are joined by the likes of Sam Claflin, Jack Quaid, and Alan Ritchson.

As many noted when Smallville actor Ritchson was cast, the extremely buff 28-year-old used to do underwear modelling, and it appears that helped ensure he wasn’t as self-conscious in some scenes as others were.

He tells E! News, “For me, I’d walk out in a thong thinking, ‘I’m in costume.’ It’s like, ‘Hey, I’m ready for the death scene,’ and they’d be like, ‘Uh, we can see part of your crotch.'”

However he did have some qualms about the skintight costumes they had to wear into the arena, due to all the food he’d been eating, “It was awful. You know what it’s like going home and wanting to eat some good soul food in Atlanta and having to squeeze my greasy, fried-chicken self into that thing every morning? It was terrible. It was a pretty nuts costume.

“Everybody’s in it though so you don’t feel too bad. But everybody was like, ‘Do I look fat in this?'”

One problem did arise with what the guys were wearing under their skintight costumes. “We walked out there in boxer-briefs,” Ritchson says, “but they were like, ‘You can see everything underneath that. You need to put on this thong, dance-belt kind of thing.'”

Eventually the guys ended up in cycling shorts. We’ll be able to see whether that successfully hid everything now that Catching Fire is due in cinemas.

Crush Of The Day: James Franco & Colton Haynes Decide It’s Shirtless Selfie Time

Today Oxford Dictionaries announced that their word of the year is ‘Selfie’. Now I’m wondering whether they phoned James Franco and Colton Haynes a couple of days ago to ask if they’d mind posting some shirtless selfies to mark the occasion.

Franco put his pic up on his Instagram accompanied by the simple message, “All the kids are doing it.”

Arrow and Teen Wolf star Haynes meanwhile decided that insomnia was a good excuse to let people know what it’s like to be in bed with him. His Instagram message was, ‘Can’t sleep’, to which most people started praying they could become the reason for that.
