Vince Vaughn seems to be enjoying collaborating with old friend at the moment, as he’s got The Internship with Owen Wilson in cinemas this summer, and now THR reveals he’s teaming up with Will Ferrell for Daddy’s Home.
They’ve previously appeared together in Old School, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Wedding Crashers and Starsky & Hutch.
The film is about a mild-mannered radio executive played by Ferrell, who wants to be the best stepfather he can be to his wife’s children. However, this gets complicated when their deadbeat biological father (Vaughn) returns and forces Ferrell to fight for the kids’ affection.
Etan Cohen will make his directorial debut with the movie. He’s a screenwriter by trade, having worked on the likes of Idiocracy, Tropic Thunder, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and Men in Black 3.
