Adrien Brody Planning An American Heist Alongside Hayden Christensen

We haven’t seen much of Hayden Christensen recently, but he’s now set up Glacier Films with a fairly large slate of films he plans to produce and/or star in. One of the first of those is American Heist, which TheWrap reports now has some company for Hayden on-board in the form of Adrien Brody, Jordana Brewster and rapper-turned-actor Akon.

The film, which is a remake of the 1959 Steve McQueen movie St. Louis Bank Robbery, ‘follows two brothers with checkered pasts who get involved in an ill-fated bank robbery spearheaded by a gang of dangerous criminals. The heist tests the strength of their sibling bond and how far they will go for family.’

Sarik Andreasyan will direct the movie, which should go into production fairly soon. This will be the first of an enormous 11 movie movies Glacier plans to release in the next three years, so perhaps this is the beginning of Hayden Christensen movie mogul.
