Russell Tovey has gained a lot of fans, many of whom reckon he’s just about the best thing since sliced bread. However it seems Russell himself doesn’t agree with anyone who’d refer to him as a ‘sex symbol.
Talking to the New York Times, the Looking star said, “I’ve got ratty curly hair. I’ve got sticky-out ears. I‘ve got a little troll nose. I’m like a little pale street urchin. I’m lucky that I’ve sort of aged well into my face. I don’t think people are repelled by me. But one never sees how other people see you in a mirror at all — ever.”
We reckon he’s being very harsh, but it is the fact that he looks like a cute guy next door who’d help you move the furniture if you asked him (and that can be a euphemism if you’d like), rather than an airbrushed model, is what many like about him.
However while he may be harsh on his looks, he’s not shy about showing off his body. He’s currently starring in the play, The Pass, about a closeted soccer player, and the images that have been released show that he spends a decent chunk of the show in just some boxer shorts – and he’s looking fine. Take a look below. (BTW, the other actor in the shots below is Downton star Gary Carr).
