It seems the recent controversy surrounding Woody Allen hasn’t put top names off working with him (Cate Blanchett’s Oscar win probably helped with that). Now Variety reports that Emma Stone has signed up for Woody’s new movie.
She joins Joaquin Phoenix who signed on last week.
As is usual for Woody, at this stage there’s no title and no plot details have been released. It’s believed to be an ensemble movie though, so expect plenty more actors to be announced soon.
This will be Stone’s second movie for the director, as she also stars in Allen’s upcoming feature, Magic in the Moonlight, which due out this summer.
Filming on his next movie is currently set to start in July.
