It may be 21 years since Jurassic Park was first released, but the new poster for next year’s Jurassic World isn’t departing too far from the template that was set up back then, with the t-rex skeleton back in its circle.
Director Colin Trevorrow released the poster himself via Twitter, echoing the tagline with the message #theparkisopen.
As that suggests, the movie takes place in a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, where John Hammond’s vision has finally come to life. However it’s a safe bet that things don’t go well and there’ll be plenty of running and screaming from prehistoric beasties.
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer and B.D. Wong (reprising his character from the original Jurassic Park) star, with a June 12th, 2015 release date set.
