Kellan Lutz To Play One Of The Few Straights In A Gay World

Poor straight people. They’re always being oppressed by the gay masses. Or at least they will be in Love Is All You Need, a new movie that THR reports has just signed Twilight hottie Kellan Lutz and Open Road’s Camilla Belle to star.

The movie follows several storylines set in a world where being gay is considered the norm. The rather slight Belle will play a star American football quarterback who is adored by a large fan base while Lutz will be an aspiring journalist. The two of them fall in love, keeping their relationship secret due to public dislike of straight couple, but when the romance becomes public, the two find themselves being bullied. It hasn’t been revealed what other storylines the film might explore.

The film is based on a short by Kim Rocco Shields (you can watch a trailer for that short below), who will direct the movie, and co-wrote the feature script with David Tillman.

Over the years, Jane Austen’s tales have been adapted and moulded into all sorts of forms by the world of film and TV, but one we’ve haven’t had until now is Sense & Sensibility brought into the 21st Century and given a Latina spin! And let’s just ignore they called it From Prada To Nada, which is a spectacularly awful title.

Alexa Vega and Camilla Belle play sisters Mary and Nora Dominguez, who’ve grown up rich and pampered in the best bits of LA. However when their father kicks the bucket, they discover he was essentially bankrupt, which necessitates a move to the much poorer environs of their aunt’s house in East LA. The pampered princesses must learn a few lessons about living without endless supplies of cash, as well as that love isn’t just about finding a rich match, while reconnecting with their Latino roots. Rufus Sewell Joins Paradise Lost

13 years ago, actor Rufus Sewell helped Aussie director Alex Proyas make a name for himself with the wonderful Dark City, and now they’re re-teaming for the director’s new movie, an adaptation of Milton’s classic, Paradise Lost, according to Variety.

Sewell is set portray Samael, an angel who ends up on Lucifer’s (Bradley Cooper) side and urges him to start a war in heaven, after they get angry and jealous of God’s love for his new creation, humans. Benjamin Walker, Djimon Hounsou, Casey Affleck, Callan McAuliffe, Diego Boneta, Camilla Belle, and Dominic Purcell will also star.

Production should begin in January on what will be a largely motion-captured film.
